JEFFERSON children’s advocacy center

We, at no cost to the center, is working with the Jefferson CAC to provide an overhaul for their website and social media platforms.

The Jefferson Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is a community based, 501(c) (3) non-profit, nationally accredited agency, and was the first Advocacy Center to open in Louisiana in 1991. Located in a small, welcoming, child-friendly house, in a residential neighborhood in Jefferson Parish, our primary purpose is to coordinate an inter-agency approach within Jefferson Parish regarding child abuse, neglect and child witnesses of violent crimes, while lessening the trauma victims may experience during the investigation and criminal justice proceedings of their cases. With this goal in mind, we utilize a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach, while respecting and honoring our culturally diverse clientele within the community. Such an inter-agency effort facilitates the appropriate and consistent detection of and response to child abuse in our community.
